COMPASSION FOR DISABILITIES | BEACON OF HOPE

A discussion group for special needs families, and individuals with or without disabilities, to help each other grow and learn through Christ how to expand our compassion skills. It is open to all ages, and families are encouraged to attend.  This group will offer unique examples/experiences because it will be facilitated by two members of the disabled community. Come join us, we'd love to meet you! We are taught to be beacons of hope and will strive to facilitate thoughtful discussions involving our group so we can all grow together and lift one another through shared experiences and compassion.

WEEKEND WALKING GROUP

SATURDAYS | VARIOUS TIMES | ACTIVITY GROUP

Frequency: Varies | Location: Various Locations | Duration: Ongoing

We are a gentle group of like-minded, mixed-age men and women who enjoy walking, hiking, or strolling various regional park trails and walking paths. We try to gauge our excursions based on weather and temperatures. Members will receive notice through e-mail describing each walk's plan, and have an opportunity to RSVP yes, no, or maybe. Our walks are sometimes invigorating, and other times provide a peaceful retreat from busy lives. You decide. All levels are warmly welcomed.

THE BOARD GAME CLUB

SATURDAY | 6:00-9:00 PM | ACTIVITY GROUP

Have you ever wanted to enact the righteous judgment of God upon your enemies? Do you ever wish you could work with others to prevent the annihilation of humanity? Do you simply like to have fun? This group is all about board games, or more accurately, all games in general. Games like: Catan, Risk and Pandemic or Scattegories, Taboo and Catch Phrase, Exploding Kittens, Sushi Go and Uno, or even Clue, Monopoly, and Trouble. We will provide most of the games, but we would love for you to bring your favorites; the more the merrier! There will also be games for all ages, so bring your kids and/or your grandparents if you think they'll enjoy it!

EAST BAY EXCHANGE

If you're a young adult (18-32ish) and you're looking for a community to encourage, support, and do life with you, then spend a Sunday evening with us. We meet from 5:00-7:00 PM on the second and fourth Sundays. Dinner is provided (usually pizza), but you are welcome to bring a dessert or drinks to share. We eat, worship, and encourage each other through brief devotionals and times of prayer. We believe God calls us to community as we grow in Christ. Come grow with us!

WOMEN'S GROUPS

LADIES JOURNALING

SATURDAY | 9:00-10:30 AM | BIBLE STUDY

Frequency: Twice a Month | Location: Online/In-person at Creekside | Duration: Ongoing

Journaling is an excellent way to both record and process what God speaks to us. It's also a useful tool to use at a later time, to reflect on and review some of the 'gems' that you have received. Without writing them down, you may forget those blessings and some very important lessons! While journaling is a very personal time with the Lord, you may want to share some of your journaling with your small group or mentors. Through discussion, you may be able to look deeper into what God is speaking to you, gain new insight, and encourage others & receive encouragement from others. This group is for all women whether you have journaled before or not. It is a casual time to get together and start your Saturday morning and read a passage together, write about what we are reading, and then, if comfortable, share and discuss what we have read. All you need to bring is a Bible, pen/pencil, journal, and an open heart.

This is a group for all ladies, who embrace the presence of little ones. We will be going through a video series that speaks directly about how to tackle life's challenges as women of God. If you'd like to fellowship in a child-friendly space, please join us! You are more than welcome here

Hey guys, do you enjoy movies? We do too! Join us every quarter to watch either upcoming releases or timeless classics. Feel free to suggest movies, but let's keep the recommendations within a PG-13 rating. We'll also organize outings to reserve theaters for private screenings of classic films.
