Frequently asked questions

We're excited you're interested in joining us for Trunk or Treat!  We can't wait to meet you and are ready to serve you and your family as you experience this fun family friendly event.  We will have plenty of our Team Creekside volunteers available around campus to help you but here are a few things we thought you might want to know before you join us.

What time does it start?

Trunk or Treat is 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, October 31st. For families who have children with special needs/sensory issues, please join us at 5:30pm.

What can we expect?

Candy, candy, and more candy! We are trick or treating aren't we?! More than that we will have carnival style games, inflatable obstacle courses, a DJ, and prizes to take home. Families with special needs/sensory issues-- from 5:30-6pm we will have trunks designed with accommodations in mind. No flashing/strobing lights, loud noises, or over stimulating activity. The music will be low and the games will be interactive but low pressure, giving your child the opportunity to engage at their comfort level. Additionally, for this portion of the evening our team will be made up of parents and professionals within the special needs community providing the chance to engage with your child in an informed, caring, and sensitive capacity.

Will there be food?

You bet! Come ready for hot dogs, chips, soda, cotton candy, and popcorn. Oh and did we mention there will be candy?

Is there a cost for admission?

Absolutely not! We want your family to come and enjoy a safe and fun night out, leave the rest to us.

Will it be scary/creepy/spooky?

No way! We want to create the most inclusive and family friendly space possible.

Should I wear a costume?

Of course, it is Halloween after all!
